Gurukul College Shodh 2024 - Unveiling Talent, Celebrating Diversity!
The much-awaited Gurukul College Youth Festival 2024 kicked off with grandeur and enthusiasm today, as the College Day festivities unfolded in our own vibrant campus. The inaugural ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of our founder and Chairman, the honorable Shri. Sanjay Darekar Sir, along with the respected Mrs. Manorama Darekar Ma’am, Principal Dr. Poonam Shityalkar Madam, Mr. Ashish Chavan Sir, and the entire faculty and staff.
Day 1 - Traditional Day
On the inaugural day of the Gurukul College Youth Festival 2024, the campus transformed into a mesmerizing tapestry of cultural diversity during the much-celebrated Traditional Day. It was a soul-stirring journey back in time, where every corner of the college radiated the vibrancy of our rich cultural heritage.
The air was filled with a sense of nostalgia and pride as students and faculty adorned themselves in a breathtaking array of traditional attire. From vibrant sarees and dhotis to intricately embroidered kurta-pajamas, the campus was a living canvas showcasing the kaleidoscope of India’s cultural splendor.
Day 2 - Bollywood Day
Lights, camera, action! Our campus turned into a Bollywood extravaganza, with students dressing up as iconic film characters, bringing the silver screen magic to life.
To add a competitive edge, awards were presented to the best-dressed participants, recognizing their creativity and attention to detail in bringing Bollywood characters to life. The red carpet moment added a touch of glamour to the celebration.
Day 3 - Group Similarity Day & Mismatch Day
On this day, the campus was alive with groups of students dressed alike, forming vibrant clusters that showcased unity and camaraderie. Group Similarity Day became a celebration of shared identities, hobbies, and passions. The synchronized attire fostered a sense of belonging and unity, highlighting the diverse yet interconnected tapestry that makes Gurukul Mahavidyalay a thriving community.
Mismatch Day encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones, challenging traditional fashion norms and embracing the beauty of uniqueness. The day symbolized breaking stereotypes and celebrating the beauty found in the differences that make each person distinct.
To add a touch of friendly competition, awards were given to the most creatively mismatched individuals or groups. The recognition celebrated the students’ imaginative and bold fashion choices, making the day even more memorable.
Day 4 - Saree Day ,Tie Day, Chocolate Day, Rose Day
The fourth day of the Gurukul College Youth Festival 2024 dawned with an air of sophistication and elegance as the campus celebrated Saree and Tie Day. This day was a beautiful blend of tradition and formality, showcasing the graceful saree and the classic tie, symbols of cultural heritage and professional attire.
Elegance met sweetness on Saree Day & Tie Day, followed by a delightful celebration of love with Chocolate and Rose Day. A perfect blend of tradition, sweetness. The day was filled with photo opportunities, with students and faculty capturing moments of elegance and professionalism.
Acknowledging the effort and creativity of the participants, special recognitions were given to the best-dressed individuals, highlighting not just the beauty of their attire but also their ability to carry it with poise and confidence.
वार्षिक स्नेहसंमेलन शोध कलागुणांचा...
गुरुकुल शिक्षण आणि संशोधन संस्था संचालित गुरुकुल महाविद्यालय, चिपळूण येथे मंगळवार, दि. ९ जानेवारी, २०२४ रोजी शैक्षणिक वर्ष २०२३-२४ चे वार्षिक स्नेहसंमेलन कार्यक्रम संपन्न झाला. गुरुकुल शिक्षण संस्थेचे सर्वेसर्वा, संस्थापक अध्यक्ष श्री. संजय दरेकर सर हे कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी होते. महाविद्यालयाच्या सेंटर हेड सौ. मनोरमा दरेकर मॅडम यांची कार्यक्रमाला विशेष उपस्थिती होती.
प्रथमत: मान्यवरांचे शुभहस्ते दीप-प्रज्वलन आणि श्री सरस्वती–देवी पूजन केले गेले. उपस्थित मान्यवरांचे यथोचित स्वागत करण्यात आले. राष्ट्रगीत, महाराष्ट्रगीत, विद्यापीठगीत नंतर श्री. साखरे सर यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक केले. विद्यार्थी – विद्यार्थिनी प्रतिनिधी यांनी आपल्या भावना मनोगतातून व्यक्त केल्या. तद्नंतर सन्माननीय श्री. दरेकर सर यांनी सद्य स्थितीचा आढावा घेऊन अध्यक्षीय भाषणामध्ये कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेच्या या युगात नवीन शैक्षणिक धोरणानुसार अद्ययावत, प्रोफेशनल, कौशल्यपूर्ण व संगणकीय शिक्षणाला आलेले महत्त्व विशद केले. ‘गुरुकुल’ च्या ‘कबड्डी’तील उत्तुंग कामगिरीचे उदाहरण देऊन प्रत्येकाने शिक्षण, कला, कौशल्य, क्रीडा यामध्ये मूल्यांची जोपासना करून सर्वार्थाने प्रगती करणे आवश्यक आहे; हे सांगितले. ‘गुरुकुल शैक्षणिक संस्थे’द्वारे खेर्डी एम.आय.डी.सी. मधील भव्य व प्रशस्त शैक्षणिक दालनात, चिपळूण व आसपासच्या परिसरातील विद्यार्थीवर्गाला, एका छताखाली सर्व शैक्षणिक सुविधा अत्यल्प खर्चात उपलब्ध करून देण्याचा प्रामाणिक प्रयत्न असून विद्यार्थी सजग नागरिक घडावा; उत्तुंग ध्येयासक्ती व मेहनतीने आपले आई वडील आणि महाविद्यालयाचा नावलौकिक वृद्धिंगत व्हावा; सर्वांनी आपली सर्वांगीण प्रगती साधावी अशी मनोकामना व्यक्त करून श्री. दरेकर सरांनी ‘वार्षिक स्नेहसंमेलन : शोध – २०२४’ या कार्यक्रमासाठी शुभेच्छा दिल्या.
‘गुरुकुल’ ने यावर्षी ‘शोध – २०२४’ द्वारे डेज, क्रीडा स्पर्धा, स्नेहसंमेलन, वार्षिक परितोषिक वितरण समारंभ आदी बहुवैविध्य कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन महाविद्यालयाच्या खेर्डी येथील प्रशस्त नूतन वास्तूच्या आवारात केले होते. स्नेहसंमेलन दिनी महाविद्यालय आवारात पूर्ण स्वादिष्ट भोजनाचा आस्वाद सर्वांनी घेतला. वैविध्यपूर्ण कार्यक्रमांचे योजनाबद्ध नियोजन करून स्नेहसंमेलन यशस्वीरित्या पार पडले. यासाठी विशेषतः ‘राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना’ विभागाचे विद्यार्थी विद्यार्थिनी, वर्ग प्रतिनिधी, सर्व शिक्षकवृंद तसेच शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी यांच्या सहकार्याने सर्व कार्यक्रम अत्यंत आनंदात आणि उत्साहात संपन्न झाला.सर्वांच्या सहकार्याबद्दल धन्यवाद व्यक्त करून कार्यक्रमाची सांगता ‘वंदे मातरम्’ ने करण्यात आली.
