Introduction
Bachelor of Commerce Management Studies (B.Com MS) is a dynamic 3-year undergraduate program designed to build strong foundations in business, leadership, and management skills. Introduced by the University of Mumbai in 1999-2000, the course spans across six semesters and prepares students for the fast-paced corporate world.
The BMS curriculum offers a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through case studies, live projects, internships, seminars, industrial visits, and interactive presentations. This practical approach makes BMS distinct from traditional commerce degrees and provides a strong stepping stone towards an MBA or other professional careers.
The program focuses on nurturing managerial competencies, decision-making abilities, communication skills, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of business operations. Special emphasis is placed on the latest trends in business, entrepreneurship, financial management, marketing strategies, and organizational behavior.
BMS is ideal for students who are ambitious, innovative, team-oriented, and willing to take on leadership roles in the future corporate, entrepreneurial, or public sectors.

Eligibility :
12th Pass( any stream )
- A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.M.S. Degree Course shall have passed H.S.C. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma in any Engineering branches with two years or three years duration after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination by securing minimum 45% marks for general category (in one attempt) at the respective Examination and minimum 40% marks for the reserved category (in one attempt).
- Every candidate admitted to the degree course in the affiliated colleges conducting the course shall have to register enroll himself/herself with the University
Duration :

The course shall be a full time course. The duration of the course shall be six semesters spread over in three years.

A Batch shall consist of 60 students and will increase by 20% after permission from MU.

The course shall consist of 39 subjects + 1 Project.

The Total number of lectures per subject per semester (Subject) shall be maximum of 60 lectures each of 50 minutes duration.
